Van Dijk Flora is affiliated with the Dutch Flower Group and is located on Veilingroute in Honselersdijk. Van Dijk Flora is a proactive and pace-setting intermediary in flowers and plants for international supermarkets and has been growing strongly for many years. The company is characterised by a unique and innovative approach, fulfilling an advisory (proactive) role for both suppliers and customers. Expanding the flower and plant product group in partnership with both the retailer and the grower is one of the most important elements of our core business. To ensure continued competitive strength in the near future, Van Dijk Flora is looking for enthusiastic personnel who are keen to share ideas and to grow with us.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
To further professionalise our organisation, we’re looking for an experienced Quality Controller to inspect and control the quality of all produced end products in the area of flowers and plants, on-site at the growers’ locations (field staff). Your duties will also include informing suppliers about the approach and the customers of the organisation. You will evaluate and formulate product specifications and will be responsible for ensuring that growers, in the Netherlands and abroad, supply products in conformity with the agreed specifications, and will discuss complaints and non-conformities in close consultation with the Purchasing Department. You will have daily contact with growers, and will also visit them regularly to ensure that the desired specifications of purchased products satisfy the requirements that have been set for them. If you have several years of experience as a Quality Controller in the plant and/or flower sector, preferably in retail, have good communication skills (preferably in English, Dutch and German) and are eager for a new challenge, then we’d like to hear from you.
